About Us
Welcome to Kami Driving School, Kamloops BC. We offer one of the most comprehensive instructional programs in town with the best prices! We specialize in teaching collision-free defensive driving techniques. We offer driving lessons in Kamloops and surrounding areas. We can pick you up from home for your driving lessons and then drop you off back at no additional charge.
We provide training 7 days a week. Our car is automatic with dual control. All of our instructors are licensed under the Motor Vehicle Act, bonded and professionally trained. We speak Hindi, Punjabi and English. We currently offer class 5 and 7, in car instruction.

Our staff will be in touch with you to confirm your lessons, discuss our rates and ensure all your questions are answered!
Note: If you are booking a multi-lesson package, you’ll only be able to select the first lesson date. Further lesson dates will be confirmed via email or phone by our staff once your package booking has been confirmed.

Prepare for your Test

School Policy
Students must provide a valid BC Learners Driver’s License or Driver’s License, including foreign driver’s license before the first lesson. Students must always carry their license during training (No Photocopy or picture in phone). NO License No lesson
Fees
- $68.25 per 1 hour lesson
- $315 for 5 lessons package
- $630 for 10 lessons package
- $1,313 for 21 lessons package
- $100 Use of car for test
GST is included
- Each driving lesson is 60 minutes.
- Each driving lesson is 50 minutes of practice time plus 10 minutes to review your progress and book your next lesson.
Cancellation

If you wish to cancel a driving lesson, we require 4 hours notice otherwise a cancellation fee of $50 will be assessed. For cancellation, please call at 778-538-2299 or email at [email protected].

If a student wishes to discontinue driver instruction, Kami Driving School (KDS) will refund the unused portion based on the hours completed in-class and in-car, minus a $50 administration fee. The package price is no longer in effect, therefore the full amount of each lesson or hours in-class will be subtracted from the package rate.
Passengers
We offer individual in-car training only. Student & Instructor will be in the vehicle during your lessons.
Road Test Vehicles
You may arrange to use one of our driver training vehicles* for your road test, for a minimum of 2-hour charge of $190. This includes a minimum of 1 hour of practice time before the roads test. *(subject to availability of vehicle).
Cancelling a Road Test
For cancelling a road test appointment made by KDS, we require 72 hour notice, as we must notify ICBC. Failure to give KDS insufficient notice may result in the student having to pay a $25 Road Test Cancellation Fee to ICBC.
Payments
Payment must be made no later than the end of each driving lesson or road test session. There will be no refund for driving lessons or road test sessions that have taken place. If the student has pre-paid for driving lessons or a road test session, there will be no refund given in case of insufficient notice of cancellation (See Cancellations above).
Road Test Booking
Road Test can be book either by the student or by Kami Driving School. All students must sign Consent and Release form before Kami Driving School may book a road test on their behalf. (NOT AVAILABLE AT THE MOMENT)
Students must be in an active training program, taking driving lessons for a road test to be booked by Kami Driving School, or Kami Driving School reserves the right to cancel any road test appointment if the student is not ready.
